We really enjoyed this property, it had amazing price. The apartment was new with views on Pico mountain. New building, where we stayed. The location of the venue was excellent adjacent to the center of Madalena and seaside and Faial island. Close to Coastal Wine Boutique, just 15 minutes walk...

We had a fantastic stay at this hotel. The apartment was very comfortable, clean, and spacious. It had all the necessary amenities, including a well-equipped kitchen, TV area with a sofa bed, and a bathroom with towels and toiletries. The location was great, with easy access to the center of the city and close to all amenities. We also loved the large windows and the breathtaking view of the sunset over the nearby mountain. The staff was extremely kind and helpful, making our stay even more enjoyable. Highly recommended!

Slight musty smell in the apartment.

I had a great stay in a very nice, comfy and modern flat located close to the centre. It was just a short walk to restaurants and a big supermarket. The apartment had a large living room, two bedrooms, and a spacious bathroom with a good shower. I appreciated the coffee machine with coffee pods and the washing machine with detergent provided. The host was friendly and helpful, even offering to pick us up from the harbor. The location was also convenient for exploring Pico mountain and all the amenities nearby.

The owner was incredibly kind and helpful, storing our luggage for the day and even giving us a free ride to the airport. The flat itself was modern, clean, and comfortable, with a great shower. I highly recommend this place for its amenities and friendly service.

We got great value for our money with a comfortable, modern, and clean flat at Apartamentos Basalto. The location was convenient, just a short walk from the ferry and close to cafes and snack bars. The owner went above and beyond, storing our baggage and even giving us a free ride to the airport. Highly recommended!

Coming back to this place for the New Year. Staff helped me find parking that time. Suits me perfectly with Wi-Fi, free parking, kitchen utensils, AC, airport shuttle. No regrets.

The location was perfect, within walking distance of restaurants and a large supermarket. the highlight was definitely the terrace on top of the building, where we could enjoy breathtaking sunsets. Joao, our host, was incredibly friendly and helpful. the apartment itself was spotless and had nice touches like an espresso machine with coffee pods and detergent with softener for the laundry. We especially loved the views from the terrace. Cons: None 🙌.

Despite the shortcomings, the location of the apartment was convenient as it was within a 15-minute walk to the city center and the harbor. The kitchen was decently equipped with a coffee machine and coffee pods, and the presence of a washing machine was a bonus. Additionally, the host, Joao, was helpful and responsive, even providing a taxi service and arranging an early check-in.

We had a terrible experience with the lack of cleanliness and responsiveness from the staff. The apartment had a strong musty smell and the washing machine was covered in mold.
